Senior Executive - Compliance & Risk Management (Biyagama)

Embark on a journey of change with MAS, by joining the Silueta team as a Senior Executive – Compliance and Risk Management to facilitate the continuous maintenance of required international, national, customer, legal and ethical standards within the plant in order to meet social and product compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure all employees are educated effectively on health and safety procedures
• Create awareness by conducting training programmes, and placing posters to create awareness.
• Provide safety briefings for visitors in order to promote Occupational Health and Safety.
• Ensure that all equipment within the factory compound is in conformance with the safety standards and general maintenance is done periodically.
• Implement and sustain projects (e.g. EHS and Ergonomics WRAP, IPS, Nike etc.) as a member of the Social Compliance project team.
• Ensure the maintenance of all social compliance, safety, health and environment related documentation and filing is in order.
• Liaise with relevant institutions to monitor the changes and amendments in laws and the education of relevant personnel about such changes.
• Implement, monitor and sustain world-class standards and practices pertaining to Industrial Safety in all areas such as personnel machinery and social, in co-ordination with the relevant departments thereby, maintaining a safe work environment.
• Heading the ESH committee to ensure that ESH standards are maintained.

Knowledge and Skills:
• Degree in Human Resource Management, Occupational Health and Safety or Human rights.
• 2-3 year of experience in a similar capacity
• Prior experience in ISO Standards
• Good communication skills
