Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS. We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to lead plant IE teams in sewing, cutting and warehouses to ensure continuous improvements are carried out through Lean initiatives/ industrial engineering principles and autonomation solutions in the manufacturing processes and other operational areas to increase productivity and maximize incentives.


Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the plant Industrial Engineering function to maximize productivity, efficiency, and capacity, while minimizing cost.
Lead the factory integration and quick changeover process to minimize bucket loss in the production process by ensuring that pre-preparation activities take place as per the plan.
Ensure the effective coordination with planning and merchandising teams to make sure the optimum plant loading is done to maximize productivity and incentive outflow.
Ensure measures are taken to validate the SMVs (GSD – General Sewing Data based) and consumption given to the manufacturing process are feasible.
Maximize utilization of the Darwin shop floor system and enhancements so as to align to upcoming IE applications.
Connect with Simultaneous Engineering team to maximize productivity, in line with the production engineering principles.
Ensure optimal utilization of the autonomation solutions whilst carrying out Kaizen activities to maximize productivity.
Responsible for the implementation and the progress of the special projects (dancing module, chassis-based planning, machine uberization, continuous flow, Lean phase) of the plant to generate expected business results.
Monitor the systems from prototype development to production solution deployment in the plant and closely work with the central Autonomation team and internal supportive teams to deliver effective results.
Ensure that the environment, safety and health standards of the organization are adhered to while actively contribute towards promoting a culture of safety and environmental consciousness within and outside the organization.


Knowledge and Skills:

Degree in Engineering, Technology or Management
GSD license
4-6 years of business experience
Strong people management and communication skills
Experience of leading and managing large teams
