Job Description

IFS Ultimo, an IFS company headquartered in the Netherlands with more than 2400 global customers, is a leading Enterprise Asset Management software provider with a strong reputation for the completeness, flexibility, and configurability of its SaaS EAM solutions.

In the world of Ultimo, asset management processes and the software they require take centre stage. At IFS Ultimo, we develop easy-to-use EAM software for confident asset owners, enabling them to optimize productivity, maximize asset availability, and secure health and safety. We supply out-of-the-box, though supremely flexible software with an unmatched ROI through short implementations, seamless integrations, and self-service application management.

The Ultimo application consists of various services developed in C#. Together, these make up the back end. The front end is written in JavaScript. Here, we use a proprietary web framework. The current generation of the application runs on Azure Kubernetes. We use various cloud-native techniques to offer a stable and scalable platform. Customers on our Azure platform are automatically provided with fixes and new features bi-weekly.

We set high-quality standards for the work delivered and have high coverage with various types of automated testing. We work with .NET (C#), Xamarin/MAUI, Azure, Kubernetes, Azure SQL, and JavaScript/TypeScript.

We’re building the next generation agentic AI framework - an intelligent, agentic approach that shifts industrial asset management from reactive maintenance to autonomous, proactive operations. Our platform will empower digital agents to onboard assets, manage maintenance, optimize stock, and support technicians — all through intelligent, context-aware interaction.

We are expanding our team, and to make this vision a reality, we’re looking for a Quality Assurance Professional who will bring a wealth of experience in shaping the future of Ultimo.

We're seeking a skilled Senior QA Engineer who’s passionate about technical QA, real-world AI applications. This is your chance to shape how digital agents learn, reason, and act in industrial environments.
 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• AI Behaviour: Responsible for verifying AI agent behaviour in diverse conditions by simulating and analyzing variations in data, user interactions, and orchestration flows
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with AI Experts, Software Engineers, to understand agent testing requirements and understand datasets that reflect real-world use cases and workflows
• Ability to break down a complex workflow into simple steps: Create example datasets that reflect different user actions and tasks, so we can test how well the AI agents handle and make decisions in real-world scenarios
• An understanding of CI/CD processes & pipelines stability by promoting initiatives that would reduce/eliminate the risk of false positives and negatives
• Ensure the right type of testing is applied at the best possible time in the project
• Detect issues and risks in the project and processes as early as possible, including the design stage
• Identify, document, and track product defects and collaborate with the development team to resolve issues

Qualifications:
 

• A Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
• 5-7 years of experience in software quality assurance
• Understanding of QA processes, best practices, testing techniques & methodologies
• Experience in automated testing using tools such as Selenium, Playwright
• Strong knowledge of version control systems like Git
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging and optimization skills
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
• Good communication and collaboration skills in a team-based agile environment
• Ability to write clean, testable, and scalable code
• Good in SQL
• Experience with AI/Agents testing and verifications, and an interest in Large Language Models, will be an added advantage
• Experience in programming in C# will be an added advantage
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team
