About the job

Required Qualifications:

External 

A Bachelor's Degree recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Sri Lanka, in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, Public Management, Business Administration, Commerce or any other Degree relevant to the subject area of the post and awarded by a University recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Sri Lanka.

With 

A Postgraduate Degree (Master's level) recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Sri Lanka, in the relevant field or a Corporate/ Chartered Member of a recognized Professional Chartered Institute, which is relevant to the subject area of the post.

AND 

Minimum of 15 years relevant experience after first degree at a "Managerial Level" in a Corporation, Statutory Board/ Institution or a reputed Private Institution.

(a) Having obtained the qualifications required by the external candidates above. 

(b) Completion of a minimum of two (2) years satisfactory service in a post in the Senior Manager Category (HM 1-1) in the subject area relevant to the post.

Method of Selection:

Structured interview.

Salary Scale:

LKR 152,500.00- 15 x 4,100.00 - LKR 214,000.00 (This will be done in 03 instalments as per Management Services Circular 01/2025 dated 2025-03-25, in 2025: LKR 113 556.00, in 2026: LKR 133 028.00, in 2027: LKR 152 500.00) 

Age Limit:

Age should be not less than 35 years and not more than 55 years. The upper age limit will not apply to the internal candidates.
