Senior Executive – Operations and Information Security Audit (Dialog Finance PLC)

The Job

• Audit Execution: Independently lead and execute end-to-end audits of operational and information security processes, directly contributing to organizational resilience and regulatory compliance on operational processes and information security controls, ensuring compliance with CBSL, ISO 27001, and internal standards.
• Policy & Regulatory Review: Support the review and enhancement of audit policies and procedures, contributing to risk identification and regulatory compliance.
• Risk-Based Auditing: Assess operational and IT risks, identify control weaknesses, and recommend actionable improvements to strengthen internal controls.
• Follow-Up & Reporting: Track audit findings, monitor remediation progress, and escalate unresolved issues to senior auditors.
• ICOFR Support: Assist in documenting workflows, testing controls, and validating compliance with financial reporting standards.
• Team Development: Share knowledge, mentor junior auditors, and contribute to audit methodology improvements and automation initiatives.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate audit findings clearly to process owners and management, ensuring timely corrective actions. Work closely with IT, Risk, Compliance, and Business Units to ensure audit findings are understood and remediated

The Person

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, IT, or related field. Professional certifications (CISA, CIA, ISO Lead Auditor) preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in internal audit with exposure to operations and information security audits.
• Skills: Strong understanding of internal controls, risk management, IT systems, and cybersecurity principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and audit tools (ACL & Tableau). Hands-on experience with data query tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Excel Pivot Tables) for audit analytics.
• Mindset: Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
