Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Arista Network Engineer to provide Level 3 (L3) support and lead advanced network operations, design, and automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Arista EOS, CloudVision, and modern network automation tools, with strong troubleshooting skills for large-scale, high-performance environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide L3 support for Arista network infrastructure, diagnosing and resolving complex Layer 2/Layer 3 issues.
Monitor network performance, respond to alerts, and proactively identify potential problems.
Implement network changes, upgrades, and new features, including configurations for:
Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF
Advanced technologies: VXLAN, MLAG, EVPN
Contribute to network design, performance tuning, and optimization (leaf-spine architectures, overlays).
Utilize Arista CloudVision Portal, Ansible, Python, and Terraform for network automation.
Maintain detailed documentation for incident reports, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and change management.
Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to resolve issues and ensure service availability.
Ensure compliance with SLAs and operational standards.
Share knowledge and provide technical guidance to peers and customers.

Required Skills & Experience:

Expertise in Arista EOS, CloudVision, and eAPI.
Strong knowledge of Layer 2/Layer 3 protocols: STP, BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, MLAG, EVPN.
Proficiency in network automation tools: Ansible, Python, Terraform.
Experience with network monitoring and log analysis tools.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Experience with high-availability, low-latency, large-scale networks.
Knowledge of SD-WAN and hybrid cloud networking is a plus.

Certifications:

Arista Certified Engineering Expert (ACE) – L2/L3.
CCNP/CCIE (Routing & Switching/Data Center).
