Senior QA Engineer - Automation

This is a 06 months contract role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and execution of automation frameworks for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable automated test suites using tools such as Selenium, TAS360, TestNG, or similar.
• Collaborate closely with development, product, and DevOps teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the SDLC.
• Conduct code reviews of test scripts, provide guidance to QA engineers, and promote automation best practices.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release readiness to ensure adequate test coverage.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Perform root cause analysis of defects and implement corrective and preventive measures.
• Support and improve QA metrics, dashboards, and reporting to provide visibility on quality progress and risks.
• Continuously explore and adopt new tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve automation efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on automation.
• Expertise in Java or Python for test automation development.
• In-depth knowledge of automation frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Experience with API automation (e.g., Postman, RestAssured) and CI/CD integration.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and QA processes in Scrum or Kanban environments.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, SDLC, and STLC.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to mentor and guide junior QA engineers.
