About the job

We are looking for an ideal candidate who is research-driven, strategically minded, and passionate about analyzing industry trends to support business growth and risk management.

Job Profile:

Conduct research and analysis into key economic/ industry sectors to drive business development, strategy and risk management.
Prepare industry reports to support Senior Management in decision-making.
Conduct further research on a detailed value chain analysis for broad sectors.
Analyze Industry demand and supply on a frequent basis and update the management as appropriate.
Represent the Bank at various industry forums and be abreast of the environmental changes.
Liaise with relevant risk management units in order to provide the required information on various Industry performances.
Assist in strategy implementation and monitoring.
Conduct Offshore country research.

Special Skills:

Good knowledge of statistical tools, research and analysis-related software.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
Project Management, presentation and interpersonal skills.

Experience & Qualifications:

Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a Bank / Financial Institution / Research Company with a minimum of 4 years at the Deputy level.
Full/ part qualification in data science would be an added advantage.
A degree or diploma in Economics or M.Sc. would be an added advantage.
