Job Responsibilities:

Develop hypotheses for different business areas based on their specific business objectives in order to analyze data and identify exceptions.
Analyze exceptions arising from analytical procedures through the statistical applications based on developed hypotheses and identify activities that may be suspicious or indicative of potential fraud or control weaknesses.
Extracting data from the existing Data Warehouse to fulfil the internal audit assignments.
Prepare reports and presentations to the management and carry out any other analytical-related tasks assigned by the Head of Internal Audit.

The Person:

Minimum 05 years experience in Banking. Exposure to auditing/data analysis would be preferred.
A Bachelor of Science Degree in Data Science or any other qualification in Data Science from a recognized university/institution.
Hands-on experience with statistical and analytical tools such as Python, R, Power BI or Tableau
Branch banking experience would be an added advantage.
Good analytical skill and knowledge in SQL query language.
Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
Strong communication skills both oral and written coupled with good interpersonal and analytical skills.
