Operations Analyst (Intern) - IFS Colombo

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Technology Operational Excellence team in the R&D Technology unit. This position is responsible for ensuring alignment between strategic objectives and measurable outcomes, fostering a culture of accountability, and enhancing collaboration across teams.

 

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance operational efficiency.
  
   
• Perform basic Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) tasks to prepare data for analysis, ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the process.
  
   
• Build and maintain reports that track progress on key results and operational efficiency metrics, providing insights for decision-making.
  
   
• Collaborate with different departments to gather data, conduct research, and support the development of action plans.
  
   
• Regularly track the progress of implemented actions and key results, providing insights and recommendations for adjustments as needed.
  
   
• Facilitate OKR planning sessions by leading workshops with teams to define, refine, and align OKRs with organizational goals.
  
   
• Prepare content to communicate findings, progress updates, and OKR effectiveness to senior management.
  
   
• Support the organization of workshops, training sessions, and other events aimed at fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  
   
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
  
   
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) and experience with ETL processes.
  
   
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
   
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  
   
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
