Junior Designer - MAS Intimates Ratmalana

This will be a great opportunity to work in collaboration with senior designers to conduct trend research and competitor analysis, generating innovative ideas for creative collections aligned with customer and business needs. While assisting in creating sketches, tech packs, and design packages, ensure accurate data entry into the system and adherence to the seasonal calendar for timely delivery while accelerating your personal development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with senior designers to conduct trend research and competitor analysis, generating innovative ideas for creative collections aligned with customer and business needs.
• Assist in creating sketches, tech packs, and design packages, ensuring accurate data entry into the system and adherence to the seasonal calendar for timely delivery. 
• Support the review of concept garments, costings, and raw material sourcing to ensure designs are technically feasible and align with target pricing.
• Manage design-related administrative tasks such as maintaining trackers for raw materials, styles, concepts, and fits to ensure timely sample development and adherence to critical paths.
• Prepare formal design boards, fabric highlights, room setups, and required samples for customer presentations, ensuring products are visually appealing, brand-appropriate, and commercially viable.
• Participate in fit sessions with senior designers, revising sketches and design packs as needed to meet customer aesthetic requirements. 

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Fashion Design or related field preferred.
• Fresh Graduates or 1 year of prior design experience in the apparel industry would be highly advantageous.
• Proficient in Graphic design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Excel, PowerPoint and PLM.
• Knowledge and ability to adopt into 3D product creation platforms.
