Manager Housekeeping - Cinnamon Wild Yala
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Housekeeping, to join Cinnamon Wild Yala. Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is Sri Lanka’s largest Hotel owner with a portfolio of 17 Hotels and Resorts in both Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, one of the largest listed conglomerates in Sri Lanka.
The Manager, Housekeeper will oversee the entire housekeeping operation according to established quality and standards to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximize the department's financial performance. You will understand the impact of the department’s operations on the overall property financial goals and objectives and ensure compliance with all housekeeping policies, standards, and procedures. This role will develop and implement policies and procedures for the resort's housekeeping operation and keep the housekeeping team focused on the critical components of operations to achieve exceeded guest satisfaction. Furthermore, this role will inspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness, appearance, and safety, and monitor staff performance to ensure efficient operations and adherence to policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Overlook the entire housekeeping operation according to established quality and standards.
- Continually improve guest and employee satisfaction.
- Maximize the department's financial performance.
- Understand the impact of the department’s operations on overall property financial goals and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all housekeeping policies, standards, and procedures.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for the resort's housekeeping operation.
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness, appearance, and safety.
- Monitor staff performance to ensure efficient operations and adherence to policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience as an Executive Housekeeper in a luxury Resort environment.
- Ability to lead, guide, develop, and motivate people at all levels.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Decision-making and organizational skills.
