Job Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Senior Business Development Executive. The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding Mintpay’s merchant footprint in Sri Lanka, and ultimately drive Mintpay’s coverage and overall business development strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

-Effectively find and qualify prospects and build a continued pipeline to improve coverage gaps.
-Maintain merchant relationships to ensure continual growth and sales targets.
-Drive merchant coverage and perception of coverage signing new prospects and managing existing merchants.
-Build strong relationship management to establish and maintain relationships with customers.
-Outbound prospecting via email and phone to generate new opportunities with leading merchants.
-Research on the capabilities required to develop a robust and continued pipeline of new prospects and growth plans for existing merchants.
-Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

-A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
-2-3 years of proven experience in business development with the ability to drive superior results with sound decision making skills.
-Previous experience in a full sales cycle including deal closing and outbound sales.
-Ability to establish and implement effective strategies to drive results.
-Possess strong communication and presentation skills.
-Be detail oriented with exceptional organizational and negotiation skills.
-Ability to work well both independently and as a part of a team.
