Manager, Leisure Sales

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Leisure Sales, to join Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts. Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is Sri Lanka's largest Hotel owner, with a portfolio of 17 Hotels and Resorts in both Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, one of the largest listed Conglomerates in Sri Lanka.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow DMC and Travel Agent accounts to meet revenue targets.
• Identify new business opportunities and actively develop new accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, decision-makers, and influencers.
• Promote Cinnamon properties by leveraging unique selling points to differentiate from competitors.
• Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, and hotel site inspections.
• Maintain clean account databases and prepare timely sales reports.
• Collaborate with hotel teams and the revenue department to align pricing and sales strategies.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales planning.
• Participate in training programs to improve performance and meet company goals.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to execute sales plans and achieve shared targets.

Qualifications:

• A degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of sales experience, preferably in the hospitality or travel sectors.
• Proven ability to manage DMC/travel agent or corporate accounts.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Solid understanding of market trends and hotel sales strategies.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with CRM tools is a plus.
• Team player with strong organizational and time management skills.
• I am fluent in English.
• Willingness to travel and meet clients regularly.
