Business Analyst

We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to provide support establish a strategic linkage between the functions capabilities and its business objectives by conducting timely and accurate analysis on business parameters, timely relevant information on business/ departmental performance, facilitate management decision making, thereby support the organization to seize opportunities presented by rapidly changing customer and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
-Provide daily operational support to the Plant General Manager, managing time and calendar and assist him/her in prioritizing activities between internal and external engagements in order to optimize his/her effectiveness.
-Support strategic decision-making initiatives/discussions by participating at relevant meetings/forums, carrying out relevant groundwork, research and data analysis via connecting with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely availability of information required to support decision making.
-Generate relevant reports (Financial, budgets, business performance, KPI progress etc) and prepare relevant presentations for relevant updates as and when requested ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of same in order to facilitate both the management decision making and information sharing processes.
-Schedule meetings periodically to drive hoshin targets across the department, prepare KPI charts, monitor performance of team with timely follow up on agreed action plans, to facilitate management reviews on an agreed cadence.
-Overlook and coordinate with the MOS team on the implementation and sustenance of MOS requirements within the function whilst constantly monitoring the progress ensuring required standards are adhered to foster a MOS culture within the team.
-Coordinate and support the factory of the future team on the implementation and sustenance of FOF requirements
-Build, Maintain & leverage effective cordial engagement with all internal and external stakeholder groups of the function to ensure uninterrupted flow of business operations, strengthen partnerships & enhance stakeholder connectivity to build strategic relationships and support organizational deliverables.
-Ensure compliance with the defined governance framework including upholding the MAS DNA, following, group/company polices & procedures*, best practices (where the group/company policies and procedures are not defined), relevant laws & regulations and undertake every necessary action to comply with the governance framework.
-Factory visit management from raising the VMS/BOI passes to coordinating all logistical requirements with the HR team and present plant induction sessions such as walk arounds to all the visitors whilst introducing the plant management team to them.
-Ensure that the environment, safety and health standards of the organization are adhered to while actively contribute towards promoting a culture of safety and environmental consciousness within and outside the organization.
Qualifications and Experience:
-An academic/ professional qualification in Finance or Business Management
-1 - 2 years of relevant work experience
-Higher level of understanding on the operations
-Good knowledge of MS Excel and office tool applications
-An understanding of the business and key customers (Advantageous)
-Excellent report writing skills/ Presentation skills and good email etiquettes
-Sound analytical skills
-Good People Management Skills
-Ability to research on given topics
