Pattern Technologist - MAS Intimates Rathmalana

We are in pursuit of a skilled individual to join the Intimates-MDS team as a Pattern technologist. This role would require you to hold the ownership of the technical aspects of the product by adhering to the critical path to achieve customer expectation & give leadership to a team of pattern techs to fulfil their job responsibilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure patterns are created in alignment with the design intent and according to the pattern creation process upon receipt of the Tech pack.
• Timely communication with the stakeholders for technical clarification if required.
• Verify the accuracy of patterns against samples whilst identifying and addressing all technical issues.
• Make sure customer comments are accurately incorporated at each cycle to achieve the expected fit requirements.
• Ensure patterns are graded accurately according to the customer specifications.
• Ensure all samples meet the given specifications and standards prior to fitting and dispatching them to the Customer along with the relevant documents.
• Participate in the fit sessions and adhere to the fit protocols.
• Facilitate costing, Sampling, and ordering processes by providing accurate patterns and other relevant documents in a timely manner.
• Contribute to factory engagement points by providing accurate product-related information and timely follow-up on agreed actions.
• Coordinate all activities pertaining to the preparation of tech packs by liaising with relevant teams; on time and accurate document submission to the production.
• Adhere to critical paths at each gate during the product development process.
• Facilitate on-the-job training for subordinate pattern techs.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Diploma in Textile & Clothing 
• B.Sc. in Engineering Textile & Clothing degree will be an added advantage 
• Minimum 02 years of experience in a similar capacity
• Experience in Gerber software
