Laboratory Technologist- Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT) Malabe
(Faculty of Engineering)
We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Laboratory Technologist attached to the Department of Civil Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day operations and maintenance of department labs, equipment and technical tasks.
- Providing high-level technical support and advice to students and staff.Servicing and cleaning equipment and infrastructure.
- Designing, developing and maintaining equipment to ensure effective and safe use.Maintaining health and safety at the faculty.
Minimum Requirements:
- NVQ level 6 or an equivalent qualification in a relevant field
- Minimum 3 years of work experience ina similar role
- Basic understanding of the operation and maintenance of lab equipment and infrastructure
- Excellent organizational skills, analytical skills and communication skills
