We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to achieve the budgeted KPIs of the plant through close coordination with the relevant internal teams and thereby achieve the customer requirements on Production in a timely manner
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan daily, weekly and monthly delivery schedules as per customer requirement (to achieve 100% DIFOT – delivery on time in full) to ensure the customers’ stipulated delivery dates are met, whilst updating the senior team on the status in a timely manner.
- Closely monitor and follow up the sewing production process with steady focus on maintaining the customer stipulated Quality Standards to ensure the production process is carried out as per the delivery schedule and approved budget.
- Identify the abnormalities in the production process with the support of the Industrial Engineering and Work-study team and thereby apply corrective action to eliminate the Root Causes so as to complete the style in a timely manner.
- Adhere to 6S, Health and Safety, Production & Social compliance procedures in order to eliminate waste, minimise cost and establish lean manufacturing concepts.
- Identify training needs of reporting employees and optimise their performance and capabilities, and establish sound industrial relations within the production teams.
Knowledge and Skills:
- A Degree in Physical Science, Textile or Clothing from a recognised university.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar capacity.
- Strong background in apparel production.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
