We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to analyze and assess customer designs/samples, machinery requirements, whilst ensuring the use of the most productive methods in the pricing and costing process. Prepare and install machine layouts, workplace layouts, whilst carrying out method study and work measurements in order to maximize efficiency and productivity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze samples critically, prepare operations breakdowns, analyze motions, assign Standard Minute Values (SMVs) for operations using the GSD system and prepare machine layouts in order to facilitate accurate allocation of machines/manpower to obtain optimum output.
• Produce an accurate costing sheet to achieve the competitive price and give the various costing options to the customer in order to reduce the price while adding newness to the product.
• Facilitate the pilot run for new styles, prepare machine layouts, feeding plans & Standard Work Sheets (STW), whilst participating in change-over meetings and informing the teams accordingly.
• Provide work study techniques in order to improve efficiency and productivity to achieve customer delivery and the quality standard.
• Analyze and monitor all the product developments that are done based on the best manufacturable method in order to improve the operational efficiencies.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Degree in Textile Technology or data science.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity.
• Strong/effective communication skills.
