Executive - Autonomation - Electrical and Electronic Engineering - MAS Bodyline Pimbura

Bodyline is a joint venture between MAS Holdings, Triumph International Germany and Mast Industries USA, offering apparel solutions from concept to delivery. Bodyline specializes in producing fitted garments and superior next-to-skin performance wear, and is the go-to vendor for bra innovations. The company has evolved from making simple, minimalist styles for a single customer to multiple styles and silhouettes across product categories for global brands. 

Looking for a dynamic individual to join the team to develop the identified automation solutions, in order to improve productivity, within the stipulated timeline, with the right quality and in a commercially feasible manner, whilst taking measures to compile and transfer the required engineering knowledge to the engineering/ mechanics team, to ensure sustainable maintenance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Identifies the technical approach to be used on a given Autonomation project and manages the system development process, including the development of an operational plan, systems analysis, technical design, coding & testing to ensure feasible solutions are developed to improve productivity. 
• Ensure required knowledge is transferred to the plant engineering teams and operations teams to effectively manage the developed Autonomation solutions, to ensure elimination of possible operational disruptions.
• Constantly engage with plants to identify opportunities and develop commercially feasible small as in a timely manner to improve productivity.
• Ensure strict adherence to stipulated timelines when developing automation solutions (medium A’s & big A’s) to realize maximum potential business impact.
• Ensure compliance with the defined governance framework, including upholding the MAS Values, following company policies & procedures, best practices, relevant laws & regulations and undertake every necessary action to comply with the governance framework.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS 

• Completed a degree in electronic engineering.
• Minimum of 1 - 2 years’ experience in the relevant industry or preferred Industrial Engineering experience. 
• In-depth knowledge of Automation Technology and awareness of Industrial Engineering concepts.
• Knowledge of garment construction, sewing machinery and textile technology.
• Strong project management skills and good people management skills
