Accountant – Ceylon Electricity Board
Applications are invited from Citizens of Sri Lanka for the Post of Accountant Class II Grade II in Permanent Basis for Ceylon Electricity Board.
Qualification and Experience:
- Associate Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICASL) / Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) UK / Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) UK
OR
- B.Sc. (Accountancy) Degree awarded by a recognized University in Sri Lanka
AND
- Three (03) years post-qualifying experience in the Accounting/Auditing field at the Executive level in an institution with more than 100 employees.
OR
- Intermediate Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICASL) / Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) UK / Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) UK
or
- Higher National Diploma in Accountancy (HNDA) of the Sri Lanka Technical College,
or
- B. Com Degree awarded by a recognized University.
AND
- Five (05) years post-qualifying experience in the Accounting / Auditing field at the Executive level in an institution with more than 100 employees. (together with a b or c above)
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Understand the requirements, and current state architecture of the enterprise and create a roadmap for future enhancements accordingly. Segmentation airline reservation
- Create Software Architecture Documents, High-level and Low-Level Design documents, and Non-functional requirements for the project.
- Define Integration Design and Security Design for the Web Services and Enterprise components involved.
- Participate in the production of detailed functional design documents to match customer requirements.
- Participate in the production of technical specifications for development and integration requirements.
- Review design documents for services such as Service Design Documents and service physical Documents and define Service SLAs in Non-functional requirements.
- Collect and Provide estimates for the requirements.
- Engage with a client architecture group.
- Collaborate with Capgemini’s internal technology teams and contribute to various internal initiatives.
- Mentor and train project team members on the Solution details for a smoother execution.
- Ensure quality deliverables.
Age Limit:
- Applicants should not be more than 35 years of age as of the closing date. This age limit will not be applicable to those who are in State service/Statutory Boards including CEB /Corporations, and they are required to forward their applications through the respective Heads of Institutions.
Salary Scale:
- For those who have Associate Membership of the ICA or CIMA or ACCA Rs. 183,600 – 5x 3,295 + 10 x 3,415 – 234,225/- pm (S3)
- For others Rs. 157,375 – 5x 2,810 + 10 x 2,845 – 199,875/- pm (S4)

- By an interview.
