About the job 


The Job:

-Assessing the skills and knowledge gaps within the organization and determining the training requirements for employees.
-Developing effective training programs and materials that align with organizational goals and address identified needs. This includes creating curriculum, lesson plans, and training modules.
-Conducting training sessions both in-person and virtually to educate employees on various topics such as technical skills, soft skills, compliance, and company policies.
-Assessing the impact and effectiveness of training programs through feedback, evaluations, and performance metrics. Adjusting training methods as needed to improve outcomes.
-Collaborating with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to coordinate training schedules, resources, and logistics.
-Using engaging teaching methods and technologies to facilitate learning and ensure knowledge retention among trainees.
-Encouraging and promoting a culture of continuous learning within the organization. Providing ongoing support and resources to employees for their professional development.
-Staying current with industry trends, organizational changes, and new technologies to update and revise training programs accordingly.
-Keeping accurate records of training activities, attendance, and outcomes for compliance and reporting purposes.
-Working closely with stakeholders to align training initiatives with organizational objectives and employee development plans.
-Advocating for the importance of training and development within the organization. Encouraging employee participation and engagement in learning opportunities.
-Ensuring that training programs meet regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to the organization's industry and operations.


The Person:

-Holds a certification in Training and Development from City and Guilds or equivalent.
-Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in training roles.
-Demonstrates clear and effective communication abilities.
-Fluency in both English & Sinhala
-LSS GB certification would be an added advantage.
