Business Analyst - MAS Biyagama EPZ, Colombo 10

As a Business Analyst you will be required to:  

• Participate in the budgeting process by coordinating with the Central Finance Department and facilitating the finalization of the budget in a timely manner.
• Participate in relevant meetings with HODs to discuss monthly budget performance. Analyze past weekly performance, identify discrepancies, agree on action points, and follow up to ensure timely implementation and completion.
• Support the development of performance measures (KPIs) for functional leads.
• Prepare monthly and ad-hoc reports to provide accurate information in a timely manner and support management decision-making.
• Study customer nature and behavior, attend to customer needs, facilitate visits by preparing strategic business presentations, and generate relevant documentation, reports, and summaries to meet customer requirements.
• Drive special functional projects for the divisions, following up on deliverables and ensuring timely and accurate execution by liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide daily operational support to the Director, including managing time and calendar, and assist in prioritizing activities between internal and external engagements.
• Perform additional duties commensurate with the role, as and when requested by management.

The ideal candidate should have:

• A Degree or NDT qualification in Textile, Product Development, or Design.
• A minimum of 1 year’s experience in a project management/ business analyst role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Foundational knowledge in finance, including ROI calculations and project proposal development.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and timelines.
