Civil Superintendent – Ceylon Electricity Board

Applications are invited from citizens of Sri Lanka having the following qualifications and experience in the power sector or other industrial construction projects.

Duties:

• The incumbent should provide relevant technical inputs for the civil works of construction of Mannar Wind Power Project Phase-Ill.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Shall have one of the following educational qualifications in the Civil Engineering stream National Diploma in Technology (NDT) National Diploma in Engineering Science (NDES) or Diploma in Technology - Open (University of Sri Lanka or Higher National Diploma in Engineering (HNDE) or National Certificate in Technology (NCT) with 5 years post qualifying experience in relevant field.
• Age should be between 18 -  30  years.
• Experience in the construction of roads, Wind power development projects, Substations and High voltage transmission lines will be an added qualification.
• Should be able to work in English and Sinhala or/and Tamil. The ability to work & communicate in Tamil language will be an added qualification.
• Preference will be given to applicants residing in Mannar, Anuradhapura, Puttalam Districts or Northern Province. 

Salary Scale:

• EL2 - Initial Salary Step of Civil Superintendent, CEB Salary Structure.

Method of selection:

• by an interview.

Terms and Conditions of Service:

• The appointment will be on a contract basis for a period of 02 years.
• The workplace is in the Northern Province.
• Candidates should be able to work at the project site in Northern Province for extended hours.
