Senior Maintenance Engineer - Electrical

(BASED AT BIYAGAMA)

 We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to ensure reliable, efficient, and safe operation of Electrical and ELV systems of Kreeda campus by timely carrying out necessary repairs and scheduled maintenance and promptly attending to any breakdowns, whilst maintaining and implementing the best compliance and sustainability practices to facilitate all SBUs in the KREEDA campus an uninterrupted operation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

-Explore new technologies and implement new strategies thereby continuously improve the operating efficiencies of the building and Electrical and ELV systems.

-Ensure Electrical and ELV systems related daily, weekly, and monthly checklists are duly filled, and relevant operating parameters and emission levels are recorded to ensure safe and efficient operations all the time.

-Ensure repairs and maintenance of Electrical and ELV and related systems are timely carried out there by ensure like-new conditions and highest level of safety and performance at all the time.

-Ensure Maintenance & repairs works are timely completed in full scope with acceptable quality standards.

-Proper coordination of maintenance and repair work with relevant stakeholders/ SBUs on the premises and there by avoid any disruption to their operations.

-Ensure necessary consumables and spare parts stocks are maintained and timely reorder to ensure uninterrupted functioning of the buildings and utility systems.

-Ensure relevant systems and procedures are followed at engineering spare parts stores and zero variance against SAP.

-Establish preliminary layouts/ designs reviews and technical specification there by ensure full scope of work is captured for tenders/ quotations.

-Establish accurate estimates for quantities and pricing and thereby support line manager/ project manager to establish accurate construction budget.

-Ensure that all materials and work performed are in accordance with the specifications and approved designs and thereby ensure quality levels of the work done.

-Ensure submetering are installed during new constructions and modifications thereby ensure SBU/ department level utility the consumptions are captured.

-Plan and allocation of technicians for planned maintenance and for routine works thereby ensure effective utilization.

-Timely carry out performance evaluation of technicians and ensure necessary feedback are given and any grievances are taken up with the line manager/ HR.

-Ensure necessary ESH awareness is given to all the third-party service providers/ contractors and safety related systems and procedures are followed all the time and thereby ensure zero accidents.

-Ensure repair, maintenance needs and productivity and safety improvements are identified, cost is properly established and timely budgeted and supported the line manager with relevant payback workings and justifications thereby ensure all important investments are approved.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

-Bachelor’s degree in electrical and Electronic Engineering. Preferably registered as Engineer at Engineering Council,Sri Lanka

-Minimum 4-year post-graduate experience in Maintenance Engineering and design of electrical and ELV systems.

-Knowledge on design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, and project management applications such as MS Project.

-Sound knowledge of MS Office applications.

-Good Communication/ Interpersonal skills.
