About the job
We are seeking a motivated Ecommerce Associate to join our growing team. This role is ideal for candidates with 1 year of experience in e-commerce who are eager to expand their skills in both day-to-day operations and UI/UX design. You'll be an integral part of our team, supporting the execution of e-commerce activities, managing products, assisting with customer orders, and contributing to improving the user experience on our websites.
Key Responsibilities:
Platform Operations:
-Assist in maintaining and managing our Shopify e-commerce platform, ensuring it runs smoothly.
-Manage product listings, update inventory, and ensure promotional accuracy.
-Stay updated with Shopify updates and implement necessary changes to optimize the platform.
UI/UX Focus:
-Collaborate with the design team to enhance website design and user experience.
-Support front-end updates such as adjusting banners, layouts, and website functionality to optimize user flow.
-Utilize design tools like Figma to contribute to UI/UX projects.
Order & Customer Support:
-Handle customer orders, ensuring timely fulfillment and resolving any order-related issues.
-Assist in managing customer inquiries related to products, orders, and returns to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Loyalty Programs & Promotions:
-Support the implementation and management of loyalty programs to enhance customer retention.
-Assist in setting up and monitoring promotional discounts and campaigns across the platform.
Data Analytics & Reporting:
-Use Google Analytics, heatmap tools (e.g., Hotjar, Crazy Egg), and other related analytics tools to track website traffic, user behavior, and sales performance.
-Apply analytical knowledge and experience in Power BI or similar tools to generate reports and insights.
-Prepare regular reports for management, focusing on key performance metrics such as conversion rates, cart abandonment, and customer engagement.
Collaboration:
-Work closely with the content, marketing, and social media teams to align e-commerce activities with overall business goals.
-Provide feedback on UI/UX improvements based on customer interaction data and heatmaps.
Skills & Requirements:
-1 year of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or a related field.
-Hands-on knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (frontend).
-Previous experience with a CMS or any e-commerce platform (Shopify knowledge is a plus).
-Strong interest in UI/UX design and improving web functionality.
-Familiarity with Google Analytics, heatmap tools (e.g., Hotjar, Crazy Egg), and other related analytics tools for performance tracking.
-Experience with analytical tools like Power BI or similar for performance tracking and reporting.
-Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
-Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Nice-to-Have:
-Experience with front-end development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) to make updates and improvements.
-Familiarity with design tools like Figma to collaborate on UI/UX improvements.
-Understanding of loyalty programs and customer retention strategies.
-Familiarity with Shopify apps and plugins to enhance the user experience.
