AVSEC Trainee – Airport & Aviation Services Limited

Possessing an ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) recognized qualification is an advantage for you to be employed at any international airport. After completion of training, you will be eligible to be absorbed to the AASL permanent cadre subject to the availability of vacancies.

We are looking for energetic males & females, who possess the required qualifications to undergo training in Aviation Security (AVSEC) at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) at Katunayake and Civil Aviation Training Centre (CATC) at Ratmalana, with the aim of paving a path to them to become professionals in AVSEC.

The applicants are required to undergo a standard medical test and physical fitness test. The selectees will receive training in 2 stages.

General Qualifications:

• Should have passed the GCE (O/L) examination with Credit passes for English Language and Mathematics.
• Preference will be given to those who have passed the GCE (A/L) examination in 03 subjects.
• Fluency in Spoken English.
• Age between 18-25 years as at the closing date of application.
• Minimum height 66 inches for male & 64 inches for female.

Qualifications for Ex-Servicemen & Ex-STF Personnel:

• Should have passed the GCE (O/L) examination with Credit passes for English Language and Mathematics.
• Preference will be given to those who have passed the GCE (A/L) examination in 03 subjects.
• Fluency in Spoken English.
• Age below 45 years.
• Minimum height 66 inches for male & 64 inches for female.
• Should be an ex-servicemen or retired/resigned Special Task Force Personnel
• (Below the rank an ex-servicemansergeant)
• Should have an ex-serviceman clearance certificate from the relevant authority confirming retirement or resignation.
