The Opportunity

 

Sysco LABS is on the lookout for a Team Lead for a Full-Time Contract position. The ideal candidate has a penchant for putting ideas in motion, visual storytelling and should be able to drive the conceptualization and execution of innovative communications campaigns, events, and employer branding engagements.

 

Responsibilities:

 

-Overseeing the development and execution of graphic design and visual branding across campaigns, events, internal communications and employer branding initiatives
-Ensuring all creative work aligns with brand guidelines, organizational goals, and campaign objectives
-Maintaining a high standard of visual storytelling, ensuring consistency and strategic impact across all design outputs
-Translating complex communication requirements into clear, compelling visual strategies
-Fostering a collaborative creative environment, encouraging idea-sharing between teams and stakeholders
-Leading brainstorming sessions and design workshops to drive innovative solutions
-Acting as a bridge between design, marketing, and other departments to ensure cohesive and integrated branding efforts
-Contributing hands-on to select design projects, producing high-impact visuals that enhance brand identity
-Generating bold, creative ideas that push the boundaries of traditional graphic design and visual communication
-Staying up to date with design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to bring fresh, forward-thinking concepts to the team


Requirements:

 

-A Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Marketing/Communications or an equivalent relevant qualification
-5+ years of experience in marketing, graphic design, brand development and the creative process; exposure to the IT industry will be a distinct advantage
-Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and experience with video editing or motion graphics is a plus
-Prior experience at a creative agency, in-house design team, or marketing department will be an advantage
-A strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative work across various mediums
-Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; Excellent verbal and written English is a must
-A keen eye for visual aesthetics and experience in art direction, branding, internal communications and campaign execution
-Strong organizational and management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities; should have a keen eye for detail
-A passion for brand storytelling through visuals, with a willingness to contribute creative ideas in brainstorming sessions
-Should have the ability to be a collaborative team player with a positive and proactive attitude
-Must be adaptable and resilient, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
