We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Executive Pastry Chef, to join the Cinnamon Bey Beruwala. Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is Sri Lanka's largest Hotel owner, with a portfolio of 17 Hotels and Resorts in both Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, one of the largest listed Conglomerates in Sri Lanka.

The Executive Pastry Chef will be responsible for operating the pastry and bakery section of the kitchen while assisting the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in delivering an excellent guest experience. Along with the Executive Chef, you will plan production and ensure superior quality of the pastry offerings while adding creativity.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all pastry and dessert preparation and presentation.
• Maintain an excellent rapport throughout the kitchen department.
• Develop new menu items while ensuring compliance with food hygiene and Health and Safety standards.
• Manage food cost effectively.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of culinary experience in pastry and bakery in a five-star hotel environment.
• Strong supervisory and communication skills.
• Understanding of the latest pastry and bakery trends.
• Commitment to delivering an excellent guest experience.
• Creativity in pastry offerings.
