JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in preparing the annual IS Audit plan and ensure it is achieved in a timely manner
Lead the IS Audit Team whilst providing guidance as and when required
Verify the effectiveness of the design, control and security of information systems by conducting
routine/special reviews
Ensure adequacy of data security measures over the bank's IT systems to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of information
Verify the effectiveness of the compliance mechanism over relevant internal guidelines/ instructions/ regulatory requirements, ISO 27001 and other applicable information security standards
Review audit reports, follow-up reports and other reports and prepare presentations to the management and the Board audit committee

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

Degree from a recognized university or membership in a professional body in Information Technology/ Information Security is mandatory
CISA qualification or MSe in Information Security, and other recognized equivalent qualifications in IT audits or information security would be a
definite advantage
Minimum of 5 years of work experience with direct exposure to IT audits, preferably in a reputed commercial bank/financial institute/audit firm
Previous Executive experience would be a definite advantage
Should be able to work under minimal supervision and be willing to work extra hours and in outstations, depending on the requirements of the job
Good analytical skills along with exceptional interpersonal skills
