Job Purpose:

The Assistant Manager – Cargo Sales will be responsible for driving cargo sales performance and building strong commercial relationships within the cargo and freight forwarding industry. This role will contribute directly to revenue generation by implementing effective sales strategies and managing key accounts, while ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute cargo sales strategies to achieve business targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders, shippers, and logistics partners.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to optimize offerings.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.

Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in airline cargo sales or logistics.
• Strong network within the local freight forwarding or cargo industry.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Results-driven, analytical, and highly organized.
• Ability to travel locally and internationally as required.

Remuneration & Benefits:

• Gross Salary up to LKR 350,000 (inclusive of allowances)
