Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and enhance the Company’s AML/CFT framework in line with the FTRA and FIU guidelines.
• Conduct ongoing AML/CFT risk assessments on customers, intermediaries, and business operations.
• Review and monitor KYC and CDD processes to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee transaction monitoring and ensure timely escalation and reporting of STRs and TTRs to the FIU.
• Maintain and update the AML Policy, Procedures, and Risk Assessment Document (RAA) in line with regulatory changes.
• Ensure adherence to FIU, IRCSL, and other regulatory directives and compliance requirements.
• Prepare and submit regulatory AML/CFT reports and returns accurately and on time.
• Maintain compliance registers and coordinate responses to regulatory examinations and inspections.
• Conduct compliance testing and independent reviews to assess control effectiveness and identify gaps.
• Track and follow up on the implementation of remediation actions for compliance findings.
• Use data analytics to identify suspicious or unusual transactions and emerging AML risk trends.
• Develop and conduct AML/CFT training and awareness programs for employees and agents.
• Promote a strong compliance culture and ethical business conduct across the organization.
• Provide advisory support on AML/CFT requirements for new products, processes, and system implementations.
• Collaborate with IT and operations teams to enhance system-based AML monitoring and automation.
• Stay updated on local and international AML developments, typologies, and sanctions regimes.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Professional qualifications in Compliance, Risk Management, or AML (such as CAMS, ICA Certificate/Diploma, or equivalent) will be a strong advantage.
• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or internal audit, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
• Strong working knowledge of AML/CFT regulatory frameworks (FTRA, FIU Guidelines, and IRCSL Circulars).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and exposure to AML monitoring systems/data analytics tools.
