One of our clients in the Global apparel-related manufacturing industry is seeking a Head of Process Excellence to join their reputable company.
Job Overview:
The Head of Process Excellence (PEX) will play a crucial role in driving operational efficiency, quality, and innovation across the organization. This strategic leadership position requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in process improvement methodologies, change management, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategy Development:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive process excellence strategy aligned with the overall business objectives.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish performance targets.
2. Process Improvement:
• Lead and oversee continuous improvement initiatives, applying Lean, Six Sigma, or other relevant methodologies across the global offices
• Conduct process assessments across the vendor base and identify opportunities for optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency gains.
3. Change Management:
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and change readiness throughout the organization.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of process improvements.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Collaborate with various departments to understand their unique processes and challenges.
• Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive collaboration and shared accountability.
5. Training and Development:
• Develop and deliver training programs to build process excellence capabilities within the organization.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to process improvement teams.
• Develop cross-functional PEX work groups to create a culture of continuous improvement within the company.
6. Performance Measurement:
• Establish metrics and dashboards to monitor and report on the effectiveness of process improvement initiatives.
• Analyze data to identify trends and areas for further improvement.
7. Innovation:
• Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance business processes.
• Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in process excellence.
• 5+ years of experience in process improvement roles, with a focus on Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
• Relevant industry experience within manufacturing, product development, and/or global organization would be preferred.
• Proven success in leading large-scale process improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Change management expertise with the ability to drive cultural transformation.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
• Previous exposure to project management and process mapping tools and techniques.
