Laboratory Assistant – National Transport Medical Institute

• The National Transport Medical Institute is an Institution established by the National Transport Medical Institute Act No. 25 of 1997, functioning under the Ministry of Transport, Highways, Ports and Civil Aviation and its vision is to place a healthy driver behind each steering. 

• As the contribution of professionals are needed to achieve the above vision as the leader in the Transport Medical field, applications are invited from Sri Lankan citizens to fill the undermentioned vacancies on a permanent basis.

Qualifications:

External Applicants:

1. Having passed six (06) subjects at the G.C.E. (O/L) examination with four (04) credit passes including Sinhala/Tamil languages, Mathematics and Science in one sitting. 

2. Having passed at least three subjects (except General Aptitude test) at the G.C.E. (A/L) examination. 

3. Having followed a recognized Computer Course.

Internal Applicants:

1. Being an employee of the Primary Grade in non-skilled, semi-skilled and skilled service categories who have fulfilled qualifications as mentioned in below 2, 3, 4 and 5 can apply for this post. 
2. Having passed six (06) subjects at the G.C.E. (O/L) examination with four (04) credit passes including Sinhala/Tamil languages, Mathematics and Science. 
3. Should hold a permanent post and have confirmed in this post. 
4. Having followed a recognized Computer Course. 
5. Should have completed at least 05 years continuous satisfactory service in a permanent post to the preceding date.

Salary:

• Rs.27,910-10x300-7X 350-4X495-20X660-48,540

Age Limit:

• Should not less than 18 yrs and not more than 45 yrs in age. This maximum age limit is not applicable for the internal applicants.
