Educational Qualifications:
- Passed six (06) subjects in G.C.E. (O/L) including Sinhala/Tamil and Mathematics in two sittings.
- Certificate in food preparation from a recognized hotel school.
- Experience will be an added advantage in a recognized tourist hotel.
Age Limit:
- Applicants should be not more than 50 years. Age limit is not applicable for Internal Candidates.
Salary Scale:
- PL -2 Grade Ill Rs.34,090 -10 x 365 - Rs.37,740/- p.m.
Term of Employment:
- Permanent on Provident Fund basis.
- The allowances approved by the Board will also be paid.
- It is required to pass an Efficiency Bar Examination before reaching the 04th salary point of the above scale. If no applicants below 50 years of age are available those from 50 to 59 years of age will be considered to appoint on contract basis.
