The Executive - Regional Business Development of ikman holds ultimate responsibility for selling ikman products & services to potential customers and maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance on maintaining an membership account with ikman
Duties & Responsibilities

  • Calling potential customers and selling the company’s products
  • Researching the target market and finding potential customers to target
  • Attending meetings with potential customers and closing sales
  • Building a sales pipeline to ensure a constant stream of sales
  • Working to monthly sales and revenue targets as set by the Manager/Team Lead
  • Progressing towards activity targets and KPI’s set by the Manager/Team Lead
  • Entering all required data for sales into the company systems
  • Creating invoices and sending out to customers following a sale
  • Updating the MMS and input customer information
  • Following up with past customers and cross-selling products
  • Following up on leads generated by other departments
  • Investigating and resolving queries from customers

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in sales
  • Excellent negotiation skills to pitch & close sales
  • Must have a bike & valid riding licence
  • Wiliness to achieve sales targets
  • Proficiency in two languages (English/Sinhala or Tamil)
  • Resides in or around Galle & Matara
