Director, Revenue Management - Cinnamon Life - Colombo

We have an exciting opportunity for a Director, Revenue Management to join Cinnamon Life, the much anticipated 1 billion USD project, opening in late 2024. Cinnamon Life is a part of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, Sri Lanka's largest Hotel owner with a portfolio of 15 Hotels and Resorts in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. It is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, one of the largest listed conglomerates in Sri Lanka.

This role will be reporting to the Director, Commercial and will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new market opportunities and implementing dynamic pricing strategies. With your strong analytical skills, you will research and use data to implement innovative tactics to place Cinnamon Life on top of the competitive hospitality landscape.

In this role, you will use various revenue management tools to maintain updates of external events, competitor rate intelligence, RevPAR penetration, key spending patterns and revenues by channel segment & account. You will actively implement all Revenue Management guidelines, activities & programs (Best Rate Guarantee & OTA Distribution protocols) and ensure that content, strategies and all possible drivers have been researched and are in place to maximise productivity and revenue on all channels.

Further, monitoring the competitors' pricing mechanisms and understanding the target markets' dynamics to optimize pricing, yielding, channel and market mix strategies and analysing booking pace, group wash, and cut-off enforcement for groups will be key tasks under your purview.
