The Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL) is a national university in Sri Lanka that exclusively offers degree programs through Open and Distance Learning (ODL), allowing students to study remotely across the country, providing access to certificate, diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate degrees up to PhD level, with qualifications recognized as equivalent to other Sri Lankan universities under the University Grants Commission; essentially, it's the only Sri Lankan university dedicated entirely to distance learning.
