
Official Languages Commission Sri Lanka
The Official Languages Commission (OLC) in Sri Lanka is a statutory body established to regulate and supervise the implementation of the country's official languages policy. It was created according to the Official Languages Act No. 18 of 1991. The OLC's main goal is to ensure that all public-facing organizations comply with the official languages policy, and it does this by reviewing, monitoring, educating, and advising on its implementation.
