CEYPETCO, or the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation, is the state-owned national oil and gas company of Sri Lanka. It imports, refines, and distributes petroleum products, operates a refinery at Sapugaskanda, and maintains a large network of over 1,300 fuel stations across the island. Established by an act of parliament in 1961, it is the largest oil company in Sri Lanka, responsible for ensuring the nation's energy security.
