The Central Provincial Public Service Commission (CPPSC) is the primary body in Sri Lanka's Central Province responsible for managing the public service. Its functions include appointment, promotion, transfer, dismissal, and disciplinary control of provincial public officers, as outlined in the Provincial Council Act No. 42 of 1987. It also prepares and amends service minutes and procedures, acting as an appellate authority for those affected by its decisions.
