How you will make an impact:
- Support the vision and execution of the infrastructure for missing critical products
- Short-term technical delivery within the team as well as setting the long-term vision. Note that this does not include line management.
- Design, Consult, Build, maintain and monitor CI/CD pipeline and all deployments up to production
- Design and automate deployment models
- Monitor existing pipelines, infrastructure, and applications in various environments
- Architect and develop infrastructure platforms
- Evangelizing DevOps transformation across the Dev/QA/Ops and other teams
- Evolve existing systems and transition into a global hybrid cloud environment
- Help with design and implementation of infrastructure assets using AWS services, OSS systems and platform
- Participate in code and design reviews, teaching and learning from other engineers
- Identify improvement opportunities on existing systems, build plans and execute improvements
- Collaborate with software development teams to automate and enhance product development and release processes
- Research of automation related technologies
- Work as a part of the scrum and development team
- Technically providing guidance for team members whenever required
What we look for:
- 6 years of extensive operations Experience with UNIX operating systems internals and / or networking
- 4 years of in-depth, hands-on experience of at least one major clouds vendor. (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
- Strong experience managing a range of production applications in a distributed and highly available environment
- Deep understanding of web, http, networking, security, scaling, and cloud native architecture
- Knowledge of one or more programming or scripting languages (such as Python or Golang)
- Experience with configuring, customizing, and extending monitoring & logging tools (ELK, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic)
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery & Deployment techniques and tools (Jenkins, TravisCI, Argo CD, GitLab, etc.)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management tools. (Terraform, Ansible, Chef etc.)
- Good understanding of version control systems (Git, Subversion, CVS etc.)
- Good understanding of build tools (such as Maven, Gradle for java, npm for java script etc.)
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and a container orchestration system (ECS/Kubernetes)
- Understanding of networking concepts and network protocols
- Deep understanding of server/network security concepts and implementations
- Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and technical appreciation skills
- Flexibility to learn about and work with different technical environments and teams
- Technical leadership experience preferred
