Job Description

Poka, an IFS company, is an innovative app designed for manufacturing companies that empower frontline workers to learn continuously, solve problems and collaborate in support of continuous improvement. We’re looking to add a knowledgeable Application Consultant to our expanding clients onboarding team. Under the leadership of the Director of Professional Services, the client training consultant will act as an expert of the tool, onboard and help new clients in their journey with Poka.

If you have a background in manufacturing, experience in previous roles like continuous Improvement, maintenance manager, production supervisor or project manager and you’re passionate about the success of customers, this is the place for you.

What you’ll be responsible for:

-Train new Poka customers on the app over multiple training sessions per onboarding 
-Support content preparation tasks in a Poka instance prior to an implementation 
-Digitize customer forms within Poka 
-Create work instructions and skills in Poka from customer-supplied information and video/photos that may require editing 
-Conduct training sessions on content creation and native iOS app features for photo and video editing, remotely 
-Enhance existing content creation training materials and develop new ones as needed 
-Support implementation for a client and the development of written guidelines for a successful factory deployment of a use case requiring content creation in Poka 
-Support extra trainings of existing Poka customers when needed 
-Create dashboards for the advanced analytics feature to help customers visualize and analyze their data

Qualifications

-1+ years of experience in a role within manufacturing with knowledge in continuous improvement, maintenance, production supervision, or project management 
-Experience in manufacturing industries such as automotive, food and beverage, metalworking, plastics and rubber, wood and paper or construction materials 
-Experience with customer facing activities, such as training and/or onboarding internal or external customers 
-Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and KPIs 
-Knowledge of Continuous Improvement and TPM tools 
-Excellent English written and verbal communication skills 
-Ability to follow established standards and processes 
-Adaptability to a changing environment and strong ability to work independently
