The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) is the only stock market in Sri Lanka, responsible for providing a regulated environment for trading securities. It is a company limited by guarantee, licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka (SEC), and operates the country's capital market. The CSE uses an electronic trading platform and has its headquarters in Colombo, with regional branches throughout the country.
